No one better than another

Ms Scott decide it’s just fair to choose the school team based on a test. The competition was between me, Yi Lyn (my roomie) and Toyin. Each of us was given 10 questions and time limit of 30 minutes. Based on our scores, the best two will be joining the school team for Senior Team Maths Challenge.

We all score 2 out of 10. Yes, I mean ALL! Wow, draw... hahaha... All the marks turn out to be levelled, including the yr 13 team members.

So, Ms Scott decided the yr 13 should just pull two names out of hat. Her intention is so that we can blame them if we’re not chosen. Berakal Miss aa..xD

Anyway, Lyn and I got to be in the team (I got it by PURE luck...)

And rupanya, last year, similar things happened. I guess that means one thing, we are all on the same level; no one better than another. Right?

The regional UKMT Senior Team Mathematics Challenge 2008 will be on 4th of December, at University of Wolverhampton. Wish us luck...

Self Management

Today’s PSHE was about self management. We were told it was something on making choices. The first thing came to my mind was ‘degree choice’ or something similar.

Then again...

Nope, that’s not it. It’s on alcohol and substance usage. :S

Hey, it doesn’t concern us, right? So almost the whole time, my mind wondered off; preoccupied at times.

There’s one thing that caught my attention. It went like this...

Speaker: If you were given alcohol and cocaine, don’t take both.
(Yes, I agree.)
Speaker: Just take either one.
(Huh?? :S)

Why are they encouraging? Weird...

Regardless of all the craps she said, I’ll surely keep my distance from those addictive substance.

Neway, I’m getting slightly better at badminton...hahaha...NOT!

FIRE DRILL!!

We had fire drill yesterday~
Wait... Let me rephrase that. We had fire drill yesterday at DAWN. And I thought it’s one of those false alarms. But the deafening alarm continued. It was 6.50am.

Aduh, Orang kan tidur wah... -_-'

I managed to get my tudung on before assemble in front of the Lower School Building. But kesian all those who were in the shower, they had to go out in the cold wearing bathrobe. Kesian kan Zaw? :P

Anyhow, I learn something out of it. Just a note to myself:

• Put a pair of shoe near the bed.
• Place a jacket / dressing gown (a thick one) somewhere easier to reach.
• And tudung too.

But I had nothing to worry about ... at least for now. Mrs Stonehill told us that’s enough for this term. Another fire drill will be sometime next term.

Enough of that story.

To Noorul Izzah Abdul Salam, yes...I’ve just updated it. Sorry it took so long. I don’t have any story to tell. There’s nothing interesting happen. =S To me, all seems like normal routine already.

More update to come. O yea, I haven’t post any picture. Will do it later today or tomorrow... Maybe... If I’m not that busy that is.
